Overview
One primary
requirement of a successful production project is a manufacturing process
that has been qualified before production is commenced. However the techniques
in establishing a successful manufacturing operation are perhaps the least
understood area in industry. Government and industry must ensure that the
process is capable of sustained production in terms of product performance,
quality, volume, and cost.
