*****Thursday, March 17th is an early release day and begins the Spring Break.  As a reminder...FBA District Band Fest is a MANDATORY event and must be attended by all Symphonic Band members.  Please delay plans to travel until Friday, March 18th.  Thank you - Mr. McClain

FBA State Festival, Ft. Myers  April 18-22, 2005

Mr. McClain has been making announcements in class about the possibility of an overnight trip to Ft. Myers in late April.  This will only happen if the Band receives a superior rating at District FBA Concert Fest on March 17th.  The cost will be minimal and we MUST have ALL band students attend to compete for this State level FBA festival.   GOOD LUCK!!!! WE KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

SPHS BAND/GUARD Landlubber's Fundraiser Night

NO SCHOOL, but meet at Landlubber's for SPHS Band Night!!!!  A portion of proceeds from the sales that evening will go back to SPHS Band/Guard!  But, but you must present the flyer to the waiter/waitress at time of ordering, so watch for the flyer to come home with your student THIS WEEK.
